I don’t even know what to say about this one.
Anyone?

… Because a true man is in full control of his body.
… Because Corey Crawford will do whatever it takes to stop the puck from going behind him.
… Because his effort level deserves the Cup in-itself.
… Because he carries the team.
… Because the team carries him.
… Because the fans carry them all.
… Because it’s the cup.

Saw this on Twitter. Had to make sure my loyal Canuck-haters saw it too. And Canuck fans, because, let’s face it, it’s true.

John Tortorella wins all of the awards for this one. My dad and I laughed so hard when we saw this.

Mike Rupp Stirring the Pot

The initial hit from Mike Rupp, right at the beginning of the clip, seemed to be the the straw the broke the camel’s back. He left his feet to deliver a hit; a clear infraction of both league rules and, in my opinion, respectable sportsmanship. It looked more like a shove to me. Plus, Brodeur was standing straight up which made it easy for him to lose balance. Regardless of those two observations, it still wasn’t right of Rupp to do that anyway. This is playoff hockey; things get heated. On the other hand, I doubt that anything would change if this happened in a regular season game.
I still don’t know what Torts was yelling at DeBoer about. Kinda pissed that Pierre muted his microphone.
